The book Ever is an extension of the original photographic installation of the same name. The original installation presents a compilation of personal travel photos, portraits, group images, and archival materials from the artist’s family, all imprinted with a full 3D scan of the artist’s body. As the body image is fragmented by the borders of the photographs, the work conveys a sense of separation and dismemberment while simultaneously creating a link between memory and the physical form.

In the book Ever, readers can explore the artwork in two ways. One way is through the traditional book format, gradually discovering 28 photographs embedded within the body’s outline, as if glimpsing fragments of a giant figure and scattered landscapes. Alternatively, readers can unfold the entire book to reconstruct the artwork at life-size—forming a 1.8-meter-tall figure that merges with a panoramic landscape.
