While exploring the Helan Mountain in the north-western part of China, I brought along a four-frame film camera to capture the enchanting scenery along my journey. At times, I found myself photographing the same landscape, while other times I captured images during different periods, yet somehow, they always shared a connection.

Developing the film roll brought back memories of the writing tests I took in primary school. In those tests, we were challenged to follow the order of pictures and use our imagination to craft a beautiful article. Similarly, with this photography notebook, I invite you to revel in the magnificent scenery of Helan Mountain. Alternatively, you can use it as a canvas to pen down your own unique stories inspired by these captured moments.
